Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza (born June 26 April 1984) is a stand-up actor and comedian who is famous for her ability to express her humor in a funny style. She appears as April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. She made her debut in the Jeannie Tate Show, a web series that focuses on sketches and improv comedy at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. She went on to appear as Juddah Apatow's Funny People and Scott Pilgrim in vs. the World later in her career. Today is her birthday. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington Delaware) is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza, who is an lawyer by trade and David Plaza a financial consultant. Both her parents are both Irish/English and Puerto Rican. Plaza graduated from a Catholic all-girls high school in 2002. She then attended NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2006. In her senior year of high school, she was President of the Student Council at the Catholic school for all girls and took part in Wilmington Drama League performances. In 2004, while during her sophomore year of college Plaza had a stroke that caused her to suffer from expressive aphasia, as well as a prolonged period of paralysis. The patient is now fully recovered. Since 2004, Plaza has been doing sketches and improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. Also in NYC, she's been performing stand-up comedy in stand-up comedy at The Improv and The Laugh Factory. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show with Ben Schwartz and also the first Terrible Decisions episode. She played the Princess, an satirical sci-fi character from CollegeHumor Troopers. Plaza was the first saxophonist to debut in the film Cassorla's Bona Fide in 2014. But she was first heard in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings from 2012. HarmonQuest In 2016, HarmonQuest included Plaza with the character of Hawaiian Coffee. She also portrayed Aaron Burr in Drunk History and Cat Adams for Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds is a television show. It was her first time returning to her role on Season 12. It was announced a year later that Plaza is set to appear on a comedy that is independent called An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
